This change makes the level ranges much more, er, sane, as several powerful abilities are gained at level 40 and level 60, which heavily disrupted their brackets.
I'm going on an UBRS raid to get Rend's head. Nothing too unusual about that. So we head out to UBRS, enter the instance, and get told "You are not in this instance's group." Try and zone back out - no go. So we decide to log out and back in again in hopes that we'll wind up in the proper UBRS instance so we won't burn our Hearthstones when the game forcibly teleports us back to our bind point.
It would appear that today's maintanence is going to be extended by - uh, a lot - because some realms are still down that aren't supposed to be. It's well past an hour after the realms are supposed to be up, and the forums are still ... spotty.
But according to a post by Caydiem I was able to read after five attempts, they're working to bring them up as fast as possible...
You've probably heard about the duping thing. Well, it's been fairly well proven that the screenshot is fake. But I thought I'd explain how to fake it properly.
In case you've been using a mod and haven't checked back since I moved all the World of Warcraft stuff over to the World of Warcraft section, I've posted updates for the 1.6 patch there.
Blizzard has released patch 1.6 today. Patch 1.6 sees the release of Blackwing's Lair and the Darkmoon Faire. (Of course the Darkmoon Faire has already moved on, so you won't be able to actually see it for another three weeks or so. Oh well!)
Tyren has finally gotten around to admitting that Thundgot (the Europe CM) wasn't just back from a crazy trip to Amsterdam when he announced that RPPVP realms were coming.
US RPers who want to PvP will be glad to know that Blizzard will indeed be creating a new RP PVP realm "at some point in the future". Based on what Thundgot said, the RP PVP realm will go live at the same time a new PVP server goes live, so that PVPers will have a new server to roll on and RP PVPers can roll on the new server at the same time.
