Update 2010-11-02: While there's still no sound track for the original Boondock Saints, you can buy the Boondock Saints II Soundtrack, which contains several of the songs in question. Plus, Jeff Danna's website has been completed, so you can check that out for additional information. Back to the original post below:
After having searched for a Boondock Saints soundtrack and not being able to find it, I finally found that they do, in fact, list most of the songs in the movie on their official website (Flash warning) on the about the film section (Flash again).
It's worth noting the "official soundtrack" is Release the Hounds (iTunes link), which only contains a few songs that actually appear in the film. When I checked Jeff Danna's website, it was essentially an "under construction" page. (Update 2010-11-02: It's now actually there and contains quite a few of the songs.)
Now, while it's cool to have this information sorta-available, it's essentially totally unreadable inside the Flash. So here it is, recreated in a readable form:
The score for the movie was done by Jeff Danna. It was exclusively written for The Boondock Saints.
Jeff Danna began scoring for films in 1987 after a hand injury ended his performance career. Since then he has scored over 150 feature film and television episodes. Additionally, his Celtic albums (with brother Mychael) have enjoyed worldwide success, and most significantly for this site, spawned the Theme from The Boondock Saints.

As far as I know, none of these are the techno chant, which is what I was originally looking for. Oh well.
Update 2010-11-02: The "Techno Chant" song is, in fact, called "Crew Cut Vs. Poppa M" and is available on the Boondock Saints II Soundtrack.
Credits Song Track
The last song played during the credits is awesome. Does anyone know the name of that track?
I lost my dog
anyone know the song when it goes like " i lost my dog ! "
Pompeii - E.S. Posthumus
The Techno Chant is called "Pompeii" by E.S. Posthumus. :)
I don't think that's the same song
Good song, but I'm pretty sure that's not the same "Techno Chant" song that's used in the Boondock Saints. Plus "Unearthed," the album the song is on, was released after the Boondock Saints. Doesn't mean it couldn't have been, but it's at the very least not the same mix.
Xology
is the name of the song...
find it all here:
http://www.mp3search.ru/album.html?id=25339
Not quite what I was looking for...
but it is the closest I've seen yet. If you notice, they've cut those songs (assuming they are indeed songs) short and spliced them together with quotes from the movie. So while it does contain bits and pieces of what I am interested in, it unfortunately still falls short of what I am still hoping to find (though I rather doubt I shall find it, as I have a feeling I might know why they mixed it like that)...
Thanks though.
Looking for the name of a song
The chorus is like
"Take, take what you want, and try to leave me alone,
Cuz I was here before you, and I’ll be here when you’re gone"
and part of the first is like this
"He got on face and spit on back, what a tangled web we weave, there’s all kinda people, but people aren’t kind…"
I don't know if I got all the words right. I love this song and don't know which one it is. If someone can help me I'd appreciate it. Thank you. I've been calling it Invincible.
If it just happens for you to know
I need to know what song it is the one from minute 33:45 (so it says on my player),although I can't figure out what it is saying, it must be a simphony.
re: techno chant boondock saints
no - its not... similar chanting but the 'techno chant' no one can seem to find in the movie is not "Pompei" by ES Posthumous. Maybe its not even a song, but rather a sort of generic clip? Its so powerful - its a shame no one can track it down.
Comment
I have been looking for a while and I know what you are talking about. and contrary to what someone said earlier that it is Pompeii, but without all the rock and roll. so my guess is that who ever did that didnt make time to do it to the entire song.
The Techno Chant is called "Pompeii" by E.S. Posthumus

Boondock saints soundtrack
wha was the song that start with "it was like a bomb droped on beaver cleaver ville for a few seconds this place was armagedon aww it was a firefight"
..No
No it isn't. That's utterly different vocally.
NO. NO. NO.
Pompeii was released in 2001. Boondock Saints came out in 1999. So unless Troy Duffy can time travel to the future to get music licensing for his movies, it's not Pompeii.
Not to mention the fact that the only similarity between the two songs is driving beat and chanting.
Cant find song title...!
I'm sure you've answered this question already, but what is the name of the song where connor and murphy are putting the pennies on the mobsters eyes after they shot up the hotel room from the ceiling? it also plays in the dvd menu and through out the movie.
thanks!!!
Bleeding Through
There is a song by Bleeding Through where it starts out with Agent Smecka's lines "For a few seconds this place was armegeddon, there was a fire fight" then when the first gun shot sounds the music starts.
Bleeding Through is not easy listening though so be warned I guess.
THe song is "Love Lost in a Hail of Gunfire"
Saints From The Streets
The song you are looking for is called "Saints Of The Street" It can be found on The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day album :) you very welcome!!
Missing song
Alright i have not been able to find this song at all, some people think its stained glass, but it just isnt. IT IS NOT TECHNO CHAT EITHER!!!!!!!!!!!!! it sounds like something you would hear in a church. but it is not stained glass. 'techno chant' song = pompeii by e.s. posthumus
the 'techno chant' song is pompeii, by e.s. posthumus
[ http://www.last.fm/music/E.S.+Posthumus/_/Pompeii ], i think.
Song question
What is the song when Rocco goes solo into the deli? After he's done talking to the wise-guys and he starts shooting. It's like hard-in-your-face-rock. The hook of the song sounds like "Pull...Pull..."
Thanks!
Holy Fool song
It's a song called "holy fool" by a band called The Boondock Saints
No, it's not.
It's not Pompeii, at all. Not even remotely.
Maybe...
Look for Xology Mix
Holy Fool
That song is "Holy Fool" but off the top of my head, I don't know who wrote it.
Music...
I want to get the music when Agent Smecker figures out that Rocco had crossed his arms in a "Wyatt Earp" shooting stance. Can´t find it....
Tnx!
Boondock saints dvd menu music

Courtroom scene.
does anyone know whats the song played at the end of the movie, in the courtroom?
i've googled it and all it comes up with is the speech.
i have the soundtrack and it's not on there either,
so if anyone could help it would be awesome.
Info
The techno chat song is actually a type of gregorian chant used back in the time after the fall of the roman empire in catholic churches.
Boondock Saints Soundtrack
It is Oct31st 2010 and Ihave been trying to search for the soundtrack from the movie and haven't had any luck finding it. Please help me locate for both my sons for Christmas!! Thanks in advance for your help!!
There isn't one
The short answer is that there isn't a sound track. The best you can do is individually search for the individual songs listed above.
However, there is a soundtrack for Boondock Saints II, which I think contains some of the songs from the first movie.
Fire Fight
I have looked for months, and can not locate the song used in the fire fight scene, help?

The song played on the detective's cd player during his first revealed investigation is Si, mi chiamano Mimi, if i'm not mistaken.
Smecker's Opera
It's from Puccini's La Boheme.
Song Breakthrough
For those of you who are looking for the orchestrated piece during the firefight scene, I have done extenive research that has led me to find a song that has some of the content from the original. the song I found is called "lebe deinen traum" by a German band called Painbastard. This is "Not" the song, but uses an exert from it such as modern bands do sometimes. Look it up on iTunes and you can clearly hear it. If someone knows German, then its your turn to research. Until then,"Catch you on the flip side"

there is a 98MB sound track that should start everyone on a strong base.
Hmmmm
I suppose I should have a site policy on posts that link to likely infringing copyrighted material.
But... I don't.
Of course, arguably this blog post infringes on copyright in the first place since it's a copy of copyrighted information from another page.
And, of course, I can't verify that the link is actually to copyrighted information without downloading it first. So... whatever.
THERE WAS A FIREFIGHT!!!!
The original firefight song is saints from the streets, found on the sound track. Its choral music.
